100 mile fundraising cycle ride
Published 03 July 2010
Martin Grosvenor, a Trustee of HFT, and Andrew Weighill completed a fundraising bike ride from Winchester to Eastbourne on the South Downs Way. It took 16 hours of hard effort to cycle the 100 miles which included 3500m of ascent, three times the height of Snowdon. Both riders were exhausted at the end of the day describing it as one of the toughest activities they had undertaken. Altogether £1100 was raised for the Tuishime School which will be put towards building an additional classroom for the ever expanding School. We are very appreciative of the donations which our supporters gave us.
