Martin's Visit to Tanzania

My recent visit to Tanzania went well and I was able to achieve more than I thought possible. I was greatly encouraged and challenged about the way forward. I spent a lot of time at Tuishime School where I probed into the school administration, leadership and educational methods. From this I have drafted a list of key actions that need to be carried out over the next few months and years in order to improve the educational achievement of children. These will be discussed by HFT trustees.
I visited different schools, a large number of existing friends, met with many new people, travelled to many different areas of Tanzania, heard about many needs and have benefited from a wide range of new experiences. The 5 weeks went quickly but I kept safe and well during them.
I have a much clearer picture of the way forward for Hope for Tanzania which I will be sharing with you in due course. I have prepared a report of my trip which I will put on the website in the next month.
