Hope for Tanzania

Fundraising in March

Published 09 April 2017

We are amazed by the generosity of our supporters during our fundraising events in March.
The sponsorship amount raised by Tim Wilmshurst, who is running the London Marathon for Hope for Tanzania, now stands at £4,305 including Gift Aid. This amount is made up of £1,394 (online donations), £1625 (offline sponsorship), £1,286 (quiz night).
Most of the sponsorship was given during the March Music Marathon which was a fantastic day of quality evocative music and fine soups and cakes. Everyone had a lot of fun whilst the musicians treated friends to a rich variety of musical genres.
The quiz night was held at the end of March and was so successful that we will hold another one in October 2018 so as to avoid clashes with other quiz nights held in Duffield.
Thanks to everyone who organised, helped and supported these events and have given so generously. We are really appreciative of your efforts.
