Reflections on Visit 2011
Published 30 December 2011
The team that came with us to Tanzania this year all had an amazing time. They were warmly welcomed into the families that they stayed with who shed tears when they left, such was the bond of friendship that had been made. For many of them the live and kindness that they were shown will be one of their lasting memories. The team spent many days at Tuishime School where they taught, helped with lessons, worked on some art with children, helped with the Sponsor a Child Scheme". They also visited orphanages, the district hospital, a Maasai area, enjoyed a 2 day safari, and experienced a variety of African life from bustling cities to natural beauty. All benefited from the experience to reflect on values in life and to understand more deeply that God loves all people no matter what their situation is. Longlasting friendships will carry on and hopefully some of the team will make a return visit in 2013. Will you join us?
