Send a Computer Scheme
Published 19 May 2012
We are delighted that 90 computers have now been collected from Dar es Salaam and have been delivered to four primary schools in Arusha. Over the last few years we have been concentrating on solely building up Tuishime School as it is our view that quality is more important than quantity. Even though our work at Tuishime is not yet finished we felt it was time to help other schools that are run by the government. Naturally there wasn't any resistance to this! So in a short while, once the computers have been set-up, children of primary school age will have the opportunity to develop computing skills. At the moment this is not possible in any of the other government schools in Arusha so we feel honoured to have ben able to help. If you have laptop computers, which still have life in them, then we would definitely be interested in getting them cleaned up and sent over to Tanzania. Contact Martin Grosvenor at info@hopefortanzania.org to discuss how to arrange collection.
