Hope for Tanzania

What will 2013 bring?

Published 26 January 2013

Of course we don't know but we can make some predictions for the work we assist in Tanzania. I think it will be a year of consolidation as we continue to support the Tuishime School. Numbers of children are now 309 which is great but does put a strain on teachers and classrooms. We expect 2 teachers from Arusha to visit UK and 2 to visit Tanzania, under the British Council International Exchange program, in which Maggie and Karen successfully won awards. The bungalow for the Felix and Naomi will be renovated and occupied. A team will visit Arusha at the end of the year. Beyond that, who knows?
