Teacher Renalda's Visit in April

Published 23 March 2013

Renalda's visit has had to be delayed until April due to difficulty obtaining her visa. Perhaps with the current weather in Derbyshire that hasn't been such a bad thing! However, she now has her visa and flights are booked so we will be meeting her at the airport on April 6 at the start of her 3 week visit. She will be visiting a number of schools, and teaching in some, with a special emphasis on the kindergarten and nursery classes. She will be meeting Christians at different churches in the area, meeting many people and hopefully building new relationships which will be of future benefit to the school. Renalda will also meet many team members who have previously visited Tanzania, the Hope for Tanzania trustees and other supporters. We are all looking forward to receiving this very gracious and lovely lady. She will be doing many courageous things - first time out of Tanzania, first time leaving her family (including young baby), first time in a non-Swahili language country, first time in a dramatically different culture. But we will support and love her so that the visit is one of hope and benefit to us all.
