Update on Tuishime School
Published 24 April 2013
Currently Renalda is visiting us on a British Council grant and attending a number of schools, some of which she is teaching in. She comes with news about a school which is bursting at its seams. Such is the popularity of the school, due to its booming reputation for success and excellence, that more and more parents want their children to be educated in it. The school is actually over capacity with a roll of 327, which is providing major challenges in the puppy and nursery classes. We are thankful to God that we have this situation to manage. The trustees are continuing to focus on improving the quality of teaching and resources and a number of exciting developments are planned in the next year to help in this area. Our aim is that the number of children at the school is limited to around the 300 level so that educational achievements can remain at the current level of excellence. The broad curriculum that is offered, which includes French and IT, is a major attraction.
