Handover of Theatre Equipment to Faraja Clinic

Published 07 November 2010

Today Peter Harris has formally handed over the anaesthetic equipment to the staff at the Faraja Clinic in a ceremony which was held in the afternoon. During his visit, Peter has met with the medical, nursing and administrative staff and is confident in their plans and ability to deliver an appropriate level of medical care to the residents of Arusha. It is anticipated that operations will start in February 2011 once some "dry runs" have been carried out. Maintenance of equipment will be provided by staff at KCMC Hospital in Moshi. We thank God for this significant step in caring for the people of Tanzania.
