Be thankful for everything

We often ask God for his help as well as for things,not just for ourselves but for other people. That is partly what Christian prayer is all about. But we sometimes forget to thank him for what he has done and for the prayers he has answered. We in HFT are grateful that the creator God, through the living Lord Jesus Christ, has allowed the Tuishime School to be built up to the fine establishment that it now is. That he daily gives strength to children, their parents and the teachers to keep going even when they are ill or in financial difficulties or lose their jobs or are in deep poverty. Somehow they get through the problems, most often with help from Christian friends, and are able to be thankful. This "extending the hand of friendship" through practical and prayerful help is what we see our role as. We are just thankful to have been given the opportunity to get involved in part of God's world.
