Hope for Tanzania

Grace Mbise

Added 11 June 2014

Grace, an evangelist, has just returned from an outreach in Tanga at which many people started following the Lord Jesus. What great news, particularly as many of these were from a different religious background. In August she will hold a conference for 400 evangelists with its aim being to train and inspire them in their work. Pray that she will be kept free from anything that prevents the Holy Spirit working through her and that she will remain humble and dependent on the Lord. Pray that those who became Christians will be discipled and integrated into local churches. Many of them will be subject to severe opposition from their families and neighbours so will need tremendous support. We should never underestimate the fury of the spiritual powers that will be released upon them but we know that the power of God is sufficient for whatever may happen.
